Forms for reporting violations
Use the following on-line forms to report violations to the Baby Feeding Law Group. Where relevant we would also like to receive photos and original materials (or good photocopies), which can be sent to mikebrady@babymilkaction.org.
Please send us information even if you think someone else may have done so. Your reports will help us to build up a picture of baby food marketing practices across the UK. We will use this in our campaign to have the International Code and Resolutions implemented in UK legislation. Where practices break the existing legislation we may be able to encourage the authorities to take action.
We will send any reports regarding the practices of formula manufacturers direct to the Trading Standards home authority responsible for the company. This means any complaints regarding labelling or advertising. For complaints about the practices of retailers or promotion in health facilities, please contact your local Trading Standards office (click here for details).
We have also been invited to submit quarterly reports to LACORS (the umbrella body for Trading Standards) summarising the complaints we receive so that coordinated action can be taken.
Your name and contact details will not be included in public reports, but will be included in forms passed to Trading Standards home authorities as they may require additional information or may wish to inform you directly of action taken.
If you have any questions about completing the forms, please contact the BFLG Monitoring Coordinator, Mike Brady, using mikebrady@babymilkaction.org
